Zhang Xiaogang is one of the most famous contemporary artist in China, who develops his art by constant exploration of historical and memorial themes. He also keep exploring the new way to express himself. His new solo is held at Today Art Museum in Beijing, in which he said ” Art is the wine brewed by life”.
The new works presented in 16:9 are a subversion of Zhang Xioagang’s familiar artistic form and an extension of his emotion. The new works at in 16:9 include paintings, sculpture and installtion.
The works of the new exhibition will continue to explore Zhang Xiaogang’s reflections on history and memory and also introduce an increased response to the present.
The exhibition last to December 26th 2010, so do not miss it if you visit Beijing.
