Yoko Ono visits Peace Museum

Yoko Ono, the New york based avant-garde artist and widow of former Bealte John Lennon, visited the Hiroshima Peace memorial Museum last week. She was there to attend a award ceremony and receive the eighth Hiroshima Art Price for her contribution to world peace through contemporary art. She is also having an exhibition at Vanas Sculpture Park in Skane, Sweden.

My thoughts though is that the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art should have a non-violence sculpture by CF Reutersward in their collection.

  1. Yoko Ono, wow, I didn’t even know she did fine art of her own.
