Contemporary Chinese Art advance by Guggenheim Initiative

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in N.Y. has announced the creation of a new initiative to advance the aschievements of Chinese artists and broaden the conversation around contemporary Chinese art. Launched with a $10 million grant from the HK based Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation, the initiative will include the creation of a culturial position at the Museum and the commissioning of works by artists born in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.

The initiative will support the museum’s existing Asian art Program.
