Sotheby’s in Hong Kong had their fall sale yesterday October 4th and one art piece named “Paradise” was a collaborative piece by top Chinese Contemporary artist Zeng Fanzhi and Alibabas founder Jack Ma. It was produced to raise awareness for the need for environmental protection with an estimation of HK$ 2,5 million (USD 322 thousand). Well a business man from China got the final bid for HK$ 42.2 million (USD 5.4 million) and the Paradise International Foundation should be grateful for such fantastic contribution to their activities. We hope it comes to a good use to make our environment cleaner and better.
